#DaysOfGratitude: Day 10

Day 10.

10, everyone! Should've posted it everyday but... yeah..

Well whatever. I'm grateful for the last ten days though. For being alive, for being able to go to work each and every day, for my achievement yesterday *yay, hope he enjoys work there*, for having best support system in the world, for having everything. Yeah I know this may sound clichè but this is true.

Now that I've neglect(?) posting my gratitude for ten days, I can't say I'm gonna post it more often, but I'll try to do so.

Oh yeah, suddenly there's some gratitude-worthy(?) things pops up in my brain. I'm grateful for being able to buy sharetea, for getting a birthday treat last week from Ka Karin and Indah, for getting cream cake in the celebration of those two Aurora girls' birthday, and for getting paid earlier (although I don't really know if this is gratitude-worthy or not).

#DaysOfGratitude: Day 1

Sudah berapa minggu(?) ini kayaknya lihat pos bertagar #DaysOfGratitude dari teman Facebook. Selalu pengen buat tapi lupa melulu. Finally, I'm making one. 😎

Bisa tertawa terbahak-bahak hari ini di tengah mood yang sedang kurang baik sesungguhnya karena pos di linimasa LINE milik Bandung Banget.

Simple. Yeah. But it feels nice when you can be grateful for tiny little things that happens in life. So, with this post and more posts in the future, I'd like to learn being grateful more and more each and everyday. Dan gue bingung kenapa tetiba bahasa Inggris ya.. hahaha

Review Film: Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012)

Hell~O everyone!
LOL.

I'm back! *wth, as if I've been away for years*

I dunno, I just want to share a review about this movie "Jab Tak Hai Jaan", one of Shah Rukh Khan's movie that was released in 2012. I watched the movie on Monday night, because lately, I have this urge to catch up his movies. Latest movie I watch is Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and My Name Is Khan. Those two are the most recent movies of him which I watched after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Lol.

Now, I'm gonna shut the crap off. Let's review the movie. Spoiler alert!

The movie tells a story about Major Samar Anand, a leader in Bomb Disposal Squad of Indian Army. The story starts off with him defusing a bomb, without any protection and he shows no fear of death. Then, on one of his day off, he went to a lake and met Akira Rai, a new recruit of Discovery Channel who was drowning. Akira cries for help but he shows no interest to help, but then he helped her but left her alone after she opened her eyes. After that, Akira went back to her place and found Samar's note in one of his jacket pockets. Akira read the note that tells the life story of Samar Anand, what he has gone through life for the past ten years.

Ten years ago, Samar was just an immigrant in London who worked three to four part time daily to get by. One day, he met Meera, a young-proud-beautiful business woman who is engaged to her family's old friend. She asked Samar to teach her how to sing a song in Punjabi language for a month, as a surprise gift for her ftaher that is turning 50. He agreed and the two meet frequently, and later they develop feelings for each other. One day, Samar got into accident and went on comatose status. Meera prayed to God, asking that nothing happened to him, in return, she will never meet him again.

Ten years later, Akira who has read his life story, asking her supervisor to bring up the story. Her supervisor agreed and requires it to be good or she will not be hired as permanent staff. Feeling ecstatic, she flies to Samar's barack alone and asking for his cooperation.

The two were not getting along very well. Samar was a secluded cold-blooded type who never let anyone got involved with him. One morning after Samar defused a bomb, Akira found him alone in the river banks, singing his favorite song. After that day, she and Samar grew closer with each other and Akira soon develop feelings for him.

Weeks later, Akira in the office and her supervisor told her that she likes her report. She will be assigned as permanent staff only if Samar come to London to be interviewed exclusively by the channel. Akira knows that Samar has promised to never set foot again in London, but still tries to invite him. Samar refused at first, but then on the deadline date, he appears. She reach him happily and tease him by walking backwards not realising that there's a truck approaching her. Samar pushed her away and got hit instead.

Samar is in the hospital. He got amnesia and his memories went back into 2002, where he had hit by a car as well. He asked for Meera. Akira was in shocked, but she went to find Meera for Samar's sake. Meera was reluctant at first by her proposal, but then agreed to pretend that she and Samar is a couple. Few days passed and one day, Samar heard announcement about a bomb terror while he was walking on London road. All at once, strips of memories come through and he remembers that he is Major Samar Anand of Indian Army.

He felt ridiculed by the fact that Meera was not his wife and played a prank using Meera's lies about their marriage. He's angry at her and left her alone. Akira sends him off and he asks her not be like him. She said it's too late.

After the separation, Samar go back to his place in the army barack and as he is defusing his 108th bomb, his story is being presented by Akira. As Akira explains about the Samar's life story, the screen shows Meera visiting Samar in India. Samar jokes that that day might be he is gonna be dead for he sees Meera in there. But then Samar and Meera reunited and the two hugs each other, maybe they'll live happily ever after.

The End. LOL.

Now, this is my review. I, even though I kind of love Indian drama films produced by Yash Chopra, I always wonder why and how the movie develop like that. I questioned a lot during the whole movie.

First, isn't Meera a business woman? A proud and super busy business woman, yet she has all the time to walk around London with Samar. And isn't Samar portraid as someone who do 3-4 part time works a day at first? How the hell did he get time between his busy schedule to teach Meera singing and moving around London everyday for a month?

Second, what is Akira doing in the lake actually? And how the heck she get to the center of the lake? I didn't see any boat.. and if she doesn't use boat, she must've been swimming all the way there, but how she get cramp and drowned if she already swam from the shore to the center of the lake before? She should've drowned before she could even jump from the rock.

Three, Akira was a journalist. She is a journalist and how could she be so careless while reporting from a place which got bombs planted all over the area. She wasn't there for fun, imho awareness and carefulness(?) is traits that a journalist should have, how could she be chosen into the Discovery Channel if she got nothing of that?

Four, the story is cliche, Samar got into accident and go back to his memories of 2002. But how, how the hell he could remember all of his lost memories for ten years in a split of second after asked who is he? As far as I remember, Retrogade Amnesia cause memory loss and temporary remove most of the patients episodic memories. A person with RA still got their old skills because it is located in different part of the brain, but when the memories made its come back.. the patient usually got a severe headache and not all memories can come back in a split of second. It took a long time to recover for a person with RA.

LOL. There was so many questions that I asked when I watch the movie but now I couldn't remember anything anymore. Anyway, I give this movie 6 of 10, it was ok to watch.

Now, so long folks! Have a nice day :)
